Valley-Lake II

Valley Lake II, a transitional housing facility for young men aged 16-21, is a new outreach program of Valley Lake Boys Home.

Valley-Lake II Transition Home is the newest outgrowth of our mission to help boys overcome their challenges and grow into upstanding and productive adults. Located in the town of Breckenridge, the furnished home has four bedrooms, an onsite house manager and a care coordinator.

Valley Lake II residents share a comfortable home offering private bedrooms and common living spaces.

A spacious yard provides room for recreation and opportunities to maintain the grounds as a contributing member of the household.

Shared meals create a sense of community and mutual support for residents of Valley Lake II.

Private rooms offer residents of Valley Lake II privacy and space for study, reflection and pursuing interests and hobbies.

At Valley Lake II, residents share common areas like the kitchen and participate in household tasks, including cooking and cleaning.

Each resident of Valley Lake II has a private bedroom for the duration of their stay.

Performing household tasks like laundry helps prepare young men to be successful living on their own.

Valley-Lake II serves 16-21-year-olds in need of safe, supportive housing as they transition into independent living and working in the community. Residents will be assisted with finding employment as well as learning life skills like budgeting and household tasks.
