An Experienced and Caring Team of Professionals

Valley-Lake Boys Home maintains a full staff of professional counselors and dedicated caregivers. Administrative staff include an executive and assistant director and program director. Each resident is assigned a case manager who works with them to develop goals, liaison with families and set up services like mental health services and chemical dependency counseling as needed.

Trained youth workers interact closely with residents throughout the day to reinforce the structured, respectful environment, supervise household tasks such as cleaning and cooking performed by residents, and provide a listening ear and positive model as the boys work to change their thoughts and behaviors in a more positive direction. Night staff remain onsite during the overnight hours.
